So, you’ve landed on a site with “ecom builder” in the name that’s mostly about accounting software. Fair enough if that’s confusing. Here’s the story.
What this site is
eComBuilderInsider is an independent site that helps small-business owners, freelancers and online sellers choose and use accounting software. It’s run by me, Janak Uparkoti, an accountant.
You’ll find honest reviews, plain-English pricing guides that show the real cost after the intro offer, head-to-head comparisons, and guides for specific kinds of business.
How the site started
The site began in 2022 covering ecommerce store builders like Shopify, which is where the name comes from. Over time, the questions I got most were about the money side: how to keep books for an online store, which accounting software to use, and what it really costs.
As an accountant, that’s where I can genuinely help. So the site now focuses on accounting software and bookkeeping, with ecommerce accounting as one of its specialities. The old store-builder articles have been retired.
