Affiliate Disclosure
Short version: some links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and sign up, I may earn a commission. You don’t pay a penny more.
Here’s the longer version, because you deserve to know exactly how this works.
Which companies
I have affiliate or referral arrangements with some of the companies I write about, including Xero and Zoho. The list changes, and any product I write about may be one of them.
How you can tell
Links that go through a short address on this site, like a “go” link, or that take you straight to a sign-up or offer page, are usually affiliate links. Pages with affiliate links carry a short note saying so.
What it does and doesn’t change
- It doesn’t change the price you pay. Sometimes a referral link gets you a better offer, and when it does, I say so.
- It doesn’t decide rankings. I regularly recommend free tools, and products I earn nothing from, when they suit you better.
- It doesn’t mean I’ve hidden the downsides. Every review has a “who should skip it” section.
Why the site uses affiliate links
Reviewing accounting software properly means paying for subscriptions and spending hours in each product. Commissions cover that, so the site can stay free to read with no paywall.
